Magnesium sulfate heptahydrate is widely used in various compound feeds, concentrated feeds and premixed feeds. The animal species suitable for it include:

Livestock and poultry feed

· Pig feed: Compound feed or concentrated feed for piglets, growing and fattening pigs, and sows. Especially during the later stage of pregnancy and lactation of sows, magnesium supplementation is needed to prevent postpartum paralysis and increase milk production.

· Poultry feed: Complete feed for broilers, laying hens, ducks, geese, etc., used to maintain bone health, increase egg production and eggshell quality, and alleviate magnesium loss caused by heat stress.

· Ruminant feed: Concentrate supplements or total mixed diets (TMR) for cattle and sheep to prevent "grass spasm" (hypomagnesemia) caused by magnesium deficiency, especially when the magnesium content in forage is low in spring, additional supplementation is required.

2. Aquatic feed
